Today's Picture of the Day is the Burlington Baptist Church in downtown Burlington. The Church is located at 3031 Washington Street, just past the Boone County Courthouse. The Church has been a part of the Burlington community for over 165 years. The church's main sanctuary is seen in this photo, as well as the Children's Building on the left and its Activity Center can be seen in the background on the right. The image to the right, from the NKy Views website, shows a great image of the original church.
The Church recently welcomed new pastor Todd Toole. The excitement surrounding Bro.Toole's arrival has led to a growth in attendance and has signaled a beginning to a new era in the Church's history. Under Bro. Toole's leadership, the Church will continue to grow and find new ways to serve Burlington and the surrounding communities.
