Today's Picture of the Day is a spring photo of the City of Florence Government Center. The Government Center is located at 8100 Ewing Blvd. The center provides a home for many of the city offices, including the Mayor's office, City Administration, Florence Police, Park and Recreation and others. The Government Center is also the place to go to renew your vehicle registration and driver's license renewals.
The campus of the Government Center also includes the Florence Family Aquatic Center, the Florence/Boone County Skate Park and the State Office Building. The campus is also surrounded by a .93 mile walking and biking trail. The campus is also home to Boone County Veterans Memorial.
