As we continue to approach the first day of school for students in Boone County on August 19th, our Picture of the Day is again featuring one of the many elementary schools in Florence, Collins Elementary. Collins Elementary is located off of US 25 in Florence. The school shares its campus with the R.A. Jones Middle School. Collins Elementary School opened in August of 1989 and was built for and enrollment of about 650 students. For more information on Collins Elementary School, visit their official website here.
