Today's Picture of the Day is a home at 22 Scott Drive in Florence that was honored by the City of Florence as the Eye Catcher of the Month. The City of Florence created the Eye Catcher of the Month program to recognize properties in the city that were well maintained and to reward them with this recognition. When a property catches the eye of a city Code Enforcer, they will take a photo and honor the property as the Eye Catcher of the Month.
This property on Scott Drive was remodeled by one of Florence Ky Online's site sponsors, Ransdell Contracting. Ransdell Contracting completely changed the look of this house in the heart of Florence. As you can see from this image of the property before the remodeling, Ransdell Contracting moved the gable of the house from over the bedroom windows to over the front door. The team at Ransdell Contracting also replaced the roof, improved the concrete around the home and did work on the deck in the back yard of the house.
